Iran’s Climber Alipour Qualifies for 2024 Olympics

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Reza Alipour of Iran secured his ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games.

In the Olympic Qualifier Series held in Budapest, Hungary, Alipour qualified for the Games.

Alipour finished 13th in Budapest in the Men's Speed.

Seven men’s and seven women’s tickets were up for grabs from the finals of the Speed competition whilst the Boulder & Lead climbers also settled all but two of theirs after the semi-final stage.

Competition climbing at the 2024 Summer Olympics is scheduled to run from August 5 to 10t at Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue in Saint-Denis.
