Korean Coach Lee Do-hee Arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – South Korean Lee Do-hee arrived in Tehran on Thursday to begin her career as the head coach of Iran’s women’s volleyball team.

She was named as the head coach of Iran’s women’s national volleyball team in early July.

Lee Do-hee, 56, will finalize her deal in Tehran.

She has worked as the head coach in Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate team.

Slovenian coach Majda Leban Cicic and Italy’s Alessandra Campedelli have previously worked as head coaches in Iran.

The Iran Volleyball Federation says it is committed to raising the level of the women’s national volleyball team.

FIVB wants to help accelerate the Iranian teams’ development via the revolutionary program of Volleyball Empowerment.
