Israeli Warplanes Target Town of Adloun in Southern Lebanon

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli warplanes launched missile strikes on the Adloun Plain, north of the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, late Saturday night, according to a report.

The official Lebanese National News Agency reported that the "raid on the town of Adloun targeted an ammunition depot."

Earlier reports indicated Israeli airstrikes on several towns, resulting in minor injuries to three citizens.

The agency also reported that the Sidon-Tyre highway was closed in both directions, redirecting traffic to internal roads.

The bombardment in Adloun, located 40 kilometers north of the Israeli border, led to a series of loud explosions.

Debris from the blasts reached neighboring villages, with one fragment landing in the town of Burj Rahal.

Israeli aircraft also conducted raids on the towns of Shehabiyah, Aitaroun, Deir Siryan, and Houla.

Earlier, an Israeli drone targeted a car near the town of Burj al-Muluk, injuring four people, including children.

Hezbollah announced that it launched dozens of Katyusha rockets at the Dafna settlement in Upper Galilee for the first time, in retaliation for the attack on civilians in Burj al-Muluk in southern Lebanon.

The resistance movement also claimed to have shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Manara outpost.

Al Jazeera reported rockets fired from southern Lebanon toward Israeli positions in western Galilee.

Additionally, the military wing of the Hamas movement, Al-Qassam Brigades, stated it fired a salvo of rockets at the headquarters of Israeli "Brigade 300 – Shomera" in the western sector of Upper Galilee.

The Al-Qassam Brigades declared this attack as a response to Israeli massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah's involvement in the confrontation with Israel escalated following the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7.

The party gradually intensified its operations while the Israeli army carried out deeper raids into Lebanese territory.

The violent confrontation forced Israeli authorities to evacuate tens of thousands of residents from settlements near the Lebanese border, marking the most intense clash between the two sides since the 2006 war.
