Iran Imports 10,000 New Cars in 4 Months

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Around 10,000 brand-new cars were imported to Iran from March 20 to July 21.

A total of 9,592 cars, valued at $192 million, have been imported to Iran in the 4-month period.

Iran had imported only 439 new cars, valued at $12 million, during the corresponding period in 2023.

Iran has ramped up car imports this year amid efforts to control soaring prices in the domestic market.
