Iran Fencer Fotouhi Out of 2024 Olympics Saber


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammad Fotouhi lost to his Mexican rival in the Men's Individual Saber of the 2024 Olympic Games on Saturday.

Fotouhi was knocked out of the Games in Paris after losing to Gibran Zea 15-13.

Iran’s Ali Pakdaman, however, defeated Japan’s Kento Yoshida 15-11 in the same weapon and will meet South Korean fencer Oh Sang-uk later in the day.

The men's saber event at the 2024 Summer Olympics takes place on Saturday at the Grand Palais strip.
