Saravi to Face Aleksanyan in 97kg Final: 2024 Olympic Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammad Hadi Saravi of Iran will meet Armenia’s Artur Aleksanyan in the final match of the 97kg on Wednesday.
Saravi defeated his Egyptian opponent Mohamed Gabr 6-0 in the semifinals.
The Iranian wrestler won a bronze medal in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Tuesday night, Amin Mirzazadeh won Iran’s first medal in the Games, beating Azerbaijan’s Sabah Shariat 4-0 in the 130kg bronze medal match.
