2024 Paris: Taekwondo Athlete Barkhordari Grabs Silver
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian taekwondo athlete Mehran Barkhordari claimed a silver medal in the 2024 Olympic Games Friday night.
Barkhordari lost to Firas Katoussi from Tunisia in the men's -80kg final.
Italy's Simone Alessio and Denmark's Edi Hrnic won the bronze medals.
Iranian female taekwondo athletes Nahid Kiani in the -57kg and Mobina Nematzadeh in the -49kg had earlier won a silver and a bronze medal, respectively.
