Mehdi Abdi Returns to Tractor: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehdi Abdi became the fourth player to move to Tractor SC from reigning Iran Pro League champion Persepolis for the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL).
Abdi was on loan to Tractor in the 2023-24 season, helping the team finish fourth in the league but has now made the move permanent.
Abdi returned to Persepolis in the summer and participated in the training but left the team very soon.
The 25-year-old forward joins Alireza Beiranvand, Danial Esmaeilifar and Mehdi Torabi as those who have swapped the red of Persepolis for the red of Tractor ahead of the new season, which kicks off on Thursday.
