Iranian Researchers’ Web 2.0 Educational Tools Project Gains Global Recognition

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An educational project by Iranian researchers focused on using Web 2.0 tools as an innovative learning method has gained international attention.

The educational project is titled "Using Web 2.0 Tools as an Innovative Learning Method".

The project and its accompanying book, “Using Web 2.0 Tools in Education”, co-authored by Hamed Kioumrasi, Hamed Babaii, and Samuel Allen, have attracted significant international interest.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Kioumrasi, one of the co-authors, highlighted the advantages of Web 2.0 tools in education.

He described it as one of the most effective teaching methods, particularly designed for those looking to expand their understanding of web tools in education.

"This method serves as a comprehensive and structured guide, providing a reference point for educators and learners," Kioumrasi explained.

Kioumrasi, a researcher at Agricultural Research Center and a lecturer on international affairs, stated that the book took around a year to complete and was authored in English to reach a wider audience due to the center’s emphasis on international scientific collaboration.

"The Japanese journal CALL-EJ, a top-tier Q1 publication in educational journals, has introduced the project and book," he noted, emphasizing that the book could serve as a valuable reference for researchers and students alike, further contributing to its global impact.
