New Mass Exodus Occurs in Gaza’s Deir el-Balah as Israel Expands Ground Assault

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Thousands of Palestinians fled parts of Deir el-Balah as the Israeli regime’s military issued new evacuation orders, and its forces advanced deeper into the overcrowded central city.

The Israeli regime’s new evacuation orders for parts of Deir el-Balah and Khan Younis have triggered fear, panic and a fresh mass exodus.

Displaced Palestinians said they have nowhere to go and no guarantee that anywhere is safe.

Israeli air attacks killed at least eight Palestinians in northern Beit Lahiya as Israeli tanks advanced on central Deir el-Balah amid “intensive raids” on the overcrowded city.

Gaza health officials said Israeli forces have killed at least 50 Palestinians and wounded 124 others across the coastal enclave in the most recent 24-hour reporting period, Al Jazeera reported.

Defense for Children International Palestine reported “systematic” torture and abuse of Palestinian children by Israeli forces, including their use as human shields in Gaza.

The Zionist regime has also assassinated Khalil al-Muqdah, a commander from a coalition of Palestinian armed groups, in a drone attack in Lebanon.

At least 40,223 Palestinian people have been killed and 92,981 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 2023.
