Tractor, Persepolis Share Spoils in Iran League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor and Persepolis football teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Matchweek 2 of the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday night.
In the match, held in Tabriz’s Yadegar-e Emam Stadium, Shoja Khalilzadeh gave the host a lead in the 60th minute.
With one minute remaining, Moroccan player of Persepolis Ayoub El Amloud equalized the match with a header.
Persepolis had been reduced to 10 men in the 76th minute after Soroush Rafiei was shown a red card.
In the other games on Thursday, Gol Gohar defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan 2-0, Aluminum was held to a 1-1 draw by Nassaji, and Foolad and Mes Rafsanjan shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
Esteghlal is going to face Malavan, Zob Ahan will meet Havadar, Chadormalu will play Shams Azar, and Kheybar will host Sepahan on Friday.
