Iran Paralympic Athletes in Paris for 2024 Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Paralympic athletes arrived in France on Friday noon to participate in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, set to take place from August 28 to September 8.
Newly-appointed Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamali extended best wishes to all Iranian athletes who will compete in the games.
Iran’s delegation includes 66 members, who will compete in 10 fields.
Shooter Mohammad Reza Mirshafiei and runner Hajar Safarzadeh will be carrying the Iranian flag at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, scheduled to take place at Place de la Concorde on August 28.
