Esteghlal Held by Malavan: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Esteghlal football team was held to a 2-2 draw against Malavan in the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Friday.
In the match, held in Qazvin’s Sardar-e Azadegan Stadium, Malavan forward Reza Ghandipour scored an early goal but Ramin Rezaeian equalized the match from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute.
Substitute Reza Jafari scored Malavan’s second goal after the hour mark but Rezaeian once again was on target from the spot in the 83rd minute.
Sepahan defeated Kheybar 2-1 in its away match, Chadormalu drew 1-1 with Shams Azar and Zob Ahan was held to a goalless draw against Havadar in its home match.
