Iran’s AI-Driven Border Security Plan to Finish Early: Army Commander

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Commander of Iran's Army Ground Force Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari has announced that the plan to secure the country's eastern borders using artificial intelligence is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.

Heidari stated that the entire plan to seal the eastern borders is based on artificial intelligence technologies.

He emphasized that merely constructing a wall is not sufficient for border security, and that modern technologies and artificial intelligence are being employed in the process.

Heidari further mentioned that the engineering units of the Army's Ground Forces have been tasked with this mission and that the project is anticipated to be finished before the designated deadline.

Iran is currently constructing a 930-kilometer-long wall along its eastern border with Afghanistan, a measure aimed at enhancing security and preventing smuggling activities.
