FM Rebuts Report of Iranian Missile Delivery to Russia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi dismissed the allegations made by the US and the European troika that Iran has provided Russia with ballistic missiles for the Ukraine war.
“Once again, US and E3 act on faulty intelligence and flawed logic. Iran has NOT delivered ballistic missiles to Russia. Period,” Araqchi said in a post on his X account on Wednesday.
“Sanction addicts should ask themselves: how is Iran able to make & supposedly sell sophisticated arms? Sanctions are NOT a solution, but part of problem,” the foreign minister added.
Officials have made it clear that Iran has never been part of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, expressing Tehran’s opposition to war.
