Coach Dissatisfied with Iran Futsal Team’s Performance Despite Win
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Guatemala 9-4 in the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, but its head coach Vahid Shamsaei is not satisfied with his team’s performance.
Team Melli has now six points from two games and secured its berth in Round of 16.
“We won the game, but my face shows what I thought about our performance. I don’t like to think about what has happened here,” Shamsaei said.
“I felt my players are thinking they are above the game, and there is no place in my team for that. This is my fault. But at least we won and we qualified for the Round of 16,” he added.
