Esteghlal Captain Cheshmi Misses Tehran Derby
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team's captain Rouzbeh Cheshmi will be absent in the match against Persepolis in Tehran derby.
Esteghlal will play its archrival Persepolis on Wednesday in Matchweek 6 of Iran Professional League (IPL).
Cheshmi was shown a red card in the dying moments of the match against Nassaji on Friday evening, when the two teams shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
Cheshmi’s absence will be a big blow to Esteghlal.
