Match With Iran Harder Than What France Has Gone Through: Coach

TEHRAN (Tasnim)- Raphael Reynaud, the head coach of France’s national futsal team, said an upcoming match against Iran will be harder than what his men have endured so far.

France is scheduled to meet Team Melli of Iran on Sunday in Group F.

The two elite free-scoring sides will collide for the right to finish first, with Iran requiring only a draw.

“Iran is a great team, and the game promises to be even harder than what we have endured here so far,” Reynaud said.

“One thing that I’m certain of is that my players are always working and have shown here that they will always fight until the end,” he added.

The 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup is being held from September 14 to October 6 in Uzbekistan’s cities of Bukhara, Andijan and Tashkent.
