Iraqi Resistance Conducts New Attacks on Israeli Military Sites

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Friday it has conducted new operations against Israeli military targets in the occupied territories, using drones and cruise missiles.

The umbrella organization for Iraqi resistance fighters released a statement detailing its recent actions. In the first operation, the group targeted a site in the occupied Golan Heights with drones.

The statement emphasized, “In continuation of our path in resisting the occupation, and support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity (Israel) against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, on Friday 27-09-2024, bombarded a target in the occupied Golan with drones.”

The second operation involved an advanced Al-Arqab cruise missile striking a crucial Israeli target in the region.

The resistance group reiterated, “In continuation of our path in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq on Friday 27/09/2024, attacked a vital target in our occupied lands with an advanced Al-Arqab cruise missile.”

They noted that the attacks were also in retaliation for Israeli criminal acts against civilians across the occupied territories.

The Iraqi resistance vowed to escalate its operations against the Israeli enemy strongholds.

In recent months, the resistance group has conducted numerous operations targeting US bases in Iraq and Syria, citing Washington's unbridled support for Israeli crimes in Gaza as a primary motivator.
