Iran Stands By Lebanon: President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Condemning the Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburb of Dahiyeh, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed Tehran’s solidarity with Lebanon and the resistance front.
In a message on Friday evening, the Iranian president denounced the Israeli airstrike on Beirut as a brazen war crime that once again revealed the terrorist nature of the Zionist regime.
The Israeli crimes against the people of Palestine and Lebanon indicate the international community’s failure to stop the Zionist regime’s state-sponsored terrorism machine and prove that Israel is the biggest threat to regional and international peace and security, the president added.
Calling on world countries, particularly Muslim nations, to condemn the Israeli attack decisively, Pezeshkian expressed his solidarity with the Lebanese government and nation and the families of martyrs.
The Iranian administration stands by the Lebanese nation and the resistance axis, the president stated.
