This is according to the director general of the West Asia Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) who pointed to the significance of signing preferential trade agreements in booming foreign trade.
On the sidelines of the 20th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Commission held in 2023, the issue of preferential trade was put on the agenda of Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and Oman’s Ministry of Trade and Investment, Abdolamir Rabihavi stated.
According to him, launching the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Iran and Oman will provide a suitable ground for boosting the volume of trade between the two countries, Mehr news agency reported.
