Neighboring Turkey has requested to invest in Iran and export the produced electricity, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Iran Renewable Energies Association said.

Davood Madadi said considering that Iran is the best location for the construction of solar and wind power plants, foreign investors prefer to invest in Iran and export electricity in return, Mehr news agency reported.
