All Hezbollah Late Commanders Replaced: Ex-IRGC Quds Force Chief

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – None of the commanding positions in Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement has remained vacant, as every commander martyred in the Israeli attacks has been replaced by a new figure, a former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force said.

In an interview with Tasnim, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Hezbollah has the necessary capacities in terms of human resources to find replacements for the deceased commanders such as Fuad Shukr, Ibrahim Aqil, or Ali Karki.

“I have information that new people have replaced the (Hezbollah) commanders as soon as they were martyred. Today, one can say that no commanding position in the command chart of Lebanon’s Hezbollah remains vacant, as all (deceased) commanders have been replaced. As an informed person, I’d emphasize that all (Hezbollah) commanders have been replaced and are doing their job vigorously,” he said.

The Iranian general stated that the new generation of pious, innovative, and courageous commanders of Hezbollah has already begun to deal consecutive blows to the Zionist regime instantly and powerfully.

Asked about Seyed Hassan Nasrallah’s successor, General Vahidi said there are many strong individuals in the body of Hezbollah who can take the helm and follow the path with the lessons learned from the late secretary general.

He further dismissed the Israeli claims that all of Hezbollah’s strategic military reserves have been eliminated, saying, “None of the strategic equipment of Hezbollah has been destroyed or even targeted. A number of less stupid Zionists have also admitted it.”

Describing the stories on the elimination of the strategic reserves of Hezbollah as a psychological operation, Vahidi said those reserves have basically not been employed yet. “The Zionist regime is going to realize in the future that in what conditions it will fall.”

He also stated that the Israeli regime’s recent act of adventurism and the martyrdom of Nasrallah will make Hezbollah stronger.

“The unfortunate Zionists must wait for Hezbollah to cast a shadow over the entire occupied territories as a permanent fear, and the Zionists will not be able to run away from the grasp of the hero, mighty and victor Hezbollah,” he concluded.
