Mihajlo Mitic Joins Paykan Volleyball Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Serbian setter Mihajlo Mitic joined the Iranian volleyball club Paykan.
The 34-year-old player has joined Paykan from the Polish team Skra Bełchatow.
Mitic is a former member of the Serbia national team, who won the title in the 2011 European Championship.
Paykan is the most successful volleyball club in Iran with 12 league titles. The team has won the Asian Club Championships eight times.
In 2010, Paykan finished in third place in the World Club Championships.
