Iranian Spokesman Draws Link between Israel’s Thirst for War, US Election
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said the Zionist regime’s intention to get the whole region involved in a war has a connection with the upcoming US presidential election.
“The occupying regime's haste in dragging the whole region into an ever expanding war is primarily aimed at malignantly manipulating the upcoming US election,” Esmaeil Baqaei said in a post on his X account Tuesday night.
“And the US's security agencies are falsely accusing Iran of trying to interfere in US's internal affairs! What an absurd twist of facts!” the Iranian spokesman added.
Tehran has repeatedly dismissed the baseless allegations of attempting to influence the upcoming US presidential election.
Iran has also reminded American officials that they cannot heal the rifts and settle their country’s internal problems, which have structural, political and social roots, by pinning the blame on others and leveling accusations against the foreign countries.
