IRGC Quds Force Commander Is Fine, to Receive Medal from Leader: Adviser
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani is alright and will be awarded the Medal of Conquest by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in the coming days, an IRGC general said.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, General Ebrahim Jabbari, an adviser to the commander of the IRGC, said Brigadier General Qaani is in full health.
He noted that the IRGC Quds Force chief is going to be awarded the 'Medal of Fath (Conquest)' by Ayatollah Khamenei in the coming days.
Jabbari also stated that no Iranian was targeted in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Mezzah suburb of Damascus on Tuesday.
His comments came after media speculations about the martyrdom of or injury to Brigadier General Qaani in Lebanon.
The Israeli regime’s media outlets have given rise to rumors about the loss of the Iranian general.
