Yemenis Rally in Support of Palestinian, Lebanese Resistance

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Massive demonstrations took place across Yemen o Friday, with protesters expressing solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements and denouncing Israel's atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Millions of Yemeni demonstrators gathered in the capital Sana’a and other cities to voice their support for the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance.

Protesters warned against Israeli ambitions to dominate Arab countries, holding rallies under the banner, "Loyalty to Martyr Leaders... With Gaza and Lebanon Until Victory."

Participants waved flags of Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, alongside portraits of martyred leaders from the Hezbollah and Hamas movements.

They condemned ongoing Israeli attacks, forced displacements, and genocide against Palestinians, criticizing Western support for these crimes.

The demonstrators also called out the international community and Arab and Muslim nations for their silence and inaction amid Israeli aggression in Gaza and beyond.

They pledged continuous support for Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon, and vowed to confront any escalations by Israel, the US, or the UK.

In a statement issued during the rallies, the protesters highlighted that Israeli aggression had expanded to Lebanon and the West Bank, while the global community remained largely unresponsive.

They promised to maintain weekly protests in solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese struggles until victory is achieved.

The demonstrators offered condolences to Hezbollah and Arab nations following the reported martyrdom of Seyed Hashem Safieddine, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, by Israel.

They vowed to honor his legacy along with those of other martyred leaders of the resistance.

The statement warned that Israel’s strategy of targeting resistance leaders would not weaken the movements, noting that previous actions had only strengthened the resolve of Palestinian and Lebanese fighters.

Protesters urged Arab and Muslim countries to remain vigilant against Israeli threats and to resist compromising their dignity and sovereignty.

The rallies concluded with participants reaffirming their determination to confront any adversary's escalation.

Yemen has openly backed Palestine’s struggle against Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023.

Yemeni Armed Forces have announced that they will continue their operations until Israel halts its ongoing genocidal military campaigns in Gaza.
