IRGC Copter Incident Injures One in Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An incident involving a helicopter of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) occurred in southern Iran on Wednesday, injuring one person.
The public relations department of the IRGC in the southern province of Fars said the accident happened when a helicopter of the IRGC Ground Force’s Airborne Division was landing.
The chopper was used for training purposes by a unit of the IRGC Ground Force.
The incident happened near Zarrindasht, a small city 230 km southeast of provincial capital Shiraz.
One of the people on board the helicopter has been injured in the incident and taken to the hospital, the IRGC said.
