Iran Names 28-player Squad for World Cup Qualifiers

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national football team head coach Amir Ghalenoei called up his 28-man list for two matches against North Korea and Kyrgyzstan.

Team Melli will play North Korea on Thursday (November 14) in Laos in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Iran will also travel to Bishkek to meet Kyrgyzstan on November 19.

Iran and Uzbekistan sit top of Group A with 10 points. Kyrgyzstan is fifth with three points and North Korea sits sixth with two points.
