Leader Meets Iran’s Beirut Envoy Who Sustained Injuries in Pager Blasts


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had a meeting with the ambassador of Iran to Lebanon who was injured in the Israeli blast of pagers in Beirut in September.

During his daily meetings, Ayatollah Khamenei met and spoke with Mojtaba Amani, the wounded Iranian ambassador to Lebanon. The meeting took place on Sunday, November 17.

In the meeting, Amani, who sustained injuries to his eyes and hands and was wounded due to the terrorist operation "Operation Grim Beeper" carried out by the Zionist regime, presented a report on his current health status to the Leader of the Revolution, khamenei.ir reported.
