Omid Ravankhah Named Havadar Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Omid Ravankhah was appointed the new head coach of the Iranian top-flight club Havadar.
The 38-year-old coach replaced Mehdi Rahmati, who parted ways with the Tehran-based club following poor results.
Ravankhah most recently worked as head coach in the first division Paykan football team.
He started his coaching career in Sepidrood in 2017 and has also coached Kheybar, Baadraan and Saipa.
Havadar sits at the bottom of the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) table with eight points out of 13 matches.
