Yemeni Forces Attack Israeli Military Sites in Support of Palestinians in Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Yemen’s armed forces announced a successful operation targeting an Israeli military site in the occupied territories, as the Israeli war in Gaza intensifies.
Yemen’s armed forces declared on Tuesday that they had launched a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at an Israeli military target in the occupied area of Yaffa.
The operation, described as successful, was conducted in solidarity with Palestinians amid Israel’s ongoing “genocidal war” in the Gaza Strip.
In their statement, Yemeni forces vowed continued action against Israeli, American, and British aggression. They affirmed their readiness to persist with military operations until the siege on Gaza is lifted and Israeli attacks on the territory cease.
This announcement follows a series of intensified strikes by Yemeni forces on Israeli military positions and other targets.
On Monday, Yemen’s drone unit attacked a military site in Asqalan, approximately 50 kilometers south of Tel Aviv, using a Yaffa long-range kamikaze drone.
Earlier, on Saturday, a Palestine-2 missile struck southern Jaffa, injuring at least 20 Israeli settlers.
Yemeni forces have also targeted Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Strait, asserting support for Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
Yemen has pledged to sustain these operations as long as Israeli military criminal actions in Gaza continue, warning of potential further escalation.
In October, the United States deployed B-2 stealth bombers to strike Yemeni targets in support of the regime of Israel. Since then, Israeli, American, and British forces have increased attacks on Yemen in efforts to suppress retaliatory actions by Sana'a.
