Iran U-17 Football Team to Compete in Belarus Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s U-17 football team will participate in the Belarus football tournament, Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, vice president of the Iran Football Federation, said.
The tournament will be held in Belarus from February 15 to 22.
“Iran will take part in the tournament as part of preparation for the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia,” Nabi said.
According to him, Belarus, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Russia, and two more teams will participate in the tournament.
The Iran U-17 football team is headed by Abbas Chamanian.
