Yemen Targets Israeli War Ministry with Ballistic Missile: Spokesman

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen's armed forces targeted Israel's war ministry in Tel Aviv with a ballistic missile, spokesman Yahya Saree said, marking the third attack in 12 hours.

Saree announced that the operation involved a hypersonic ballistic missile, Palestine 2, aimed at the Israeli ministry of war in occupied Tel Aviv.

Saree confirmed that the missile struck its designated target, and Israeli defense systems failed to intercept it.

"This is our third operation in the past 12 hours," Saree said, reiterating Yemen's support for Palestine and commitment to intensify operations until Israeli aggression ends and the Gaza blockade is lifted.

Earlier, Saree revealed that Yemeni forces conducted two separate operations, one using drones and the other missiles, targeting critical sites in Tel Aviv.

In a televised statement on Al-Masirah, Saree declared, "In response to the oppression of the Palestinian people and our brothers in Gaza, and as part of the fifth phase of support in the promised liberation battle and holy jihad, Yemen's armed forces conducted a military operation against a vital Israeli target in occupied Tel Aviv using the hypersonic ballistic missile 'Palestine 2.'"

He emphasized the operation's success, adding, "Additionally, the Yemeni army's drone force carried out a special military operation using four drones against vital Israeli targets in occupied Tel Aviv, which also succeeded."

Israeli sources reported a new missile attack from Yemen on occupied Palestine, triggering alarms across Al-Quds, Tel Aviv, and coastal areas.

The Israeli military confirmed missile warning sirens and explosions in Tel Aviv, leading to the temporary suspension of flights at Ben Gurion Airport.

Despite initial claims of missile interception, the Israeli military admitted it could not confirm the interception of the Yemeni missile.

Israeli media reported that 11 settlers were injured while seeking shelter during the attack, with some sources indicating 15 injuries.

The Yemeni military is expected to release further details on the operation in a forthcoming statement.
