True Promise Operations Were Mere Warnings: IRGC Chief

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The enemies have not still received Iran’s serious blows, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said, noting that the Operations True Promise I and II against the Israeli regime were only warnings.

Addressing the IRGC forces attending a military drill in Arak province on Wednesday, Major General Salami said Iran has become so powerful that it can shake the world.

“Iran is very great. The enemies have not yet received Iran’s serious blows,” the commander said.

He added that what Iran demonstrated during the retaliatory Operations True Promise I and II against the Zionist regime were mere “warnings and examples”.

The general cautioned the enemies that they will have to face humiliation if they continue with their evil policies against the Islamic Republic.

In comments in December 2024, IRGC Deputy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi gave an assurance that the True Promise III operation will take place in revenge for the Israeli attack that took the lives of four Iranian servicemen on October 26, 2024.

The general stated that Iran’s military operation will certainly occur “at the definite time and in appropriate circumstances.”

On October 1, Iran responded to the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan by launching as many as 200 ballistic missiles toward the Zionist regime’s military and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories.

In the early hours of October 26, the Zionist regime attacked a number of military sites in Iran, which resulted in the martyrdom of four servicemen and a civilian.
