Iran Warns Israeli Aggression against Lebanon Threaten Global Peace

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran has condemned Israeli regime’s recent attacks on Lebanon, warning that the aggression endangers international peace and security.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei strongly denounced Israel’s airstrikes across Lebanon, which have resulted in the deaths of dozens of Lebanese civilians in recent days.

Urging the global community to take decisive action to halt the escalation, Baqaei linked the Israeli military operations in Lebanon and Syria to Tel Aviv’s intensified offensive in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, calling the combined assaults a serious escalation that jeopardizes regional and global stability.

Highlighting repeated ceasefire violations by Israeli forces over the past two months, he said the latest wave of attacks—especially in recent days—demonstrates Tel Aviv’s "lawlessness" and disregard for international law and humanitarian principles.

He stressed the urgent responsibility of the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take immediate measures to stop Israel’s continued aggression.

Baqaei also extended condolences to the families of Lebanese victims and expressed solidarity with Lebanon’s government and people, wishing a swift recovery for those injured.

Israeli hostilities resumed on Saturday morning after three rockets were allegedly fired from southern Lebanon into occupied territories. In response, Israeli airstrikes killed at least seven people and wounded 40 others across Lebanon.

Later that day, Israeli warplanes struck a parking area in Tyre’s al-Raml neighborhood, injuring four civilians.
