Iran’s Daniel Davari Joins Grasshoppers Zurich
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Eintracht Braunschweig goalkeeper Daniel Davari joined Swiss club Grasshoppers Zurich on a two-year contract on Thursday.
Eintracht Braunschweig was relegated from the Bundesliga on the final day of the season and Davari didn’t renew his contract with the Braunschweig team.
The 26-year-old German -Iranian goalie replaced Roman Burki, who left Grasshoppers for Freiburg.
“Daniel Davari has already proven himself in the Bundesliga. I think he still has room for improvement,” Grasshoppers coach Michael Skibbe told the official site of the club.
Davari is now participating in the Iran’s pre-World Cup preparatory camp in Austria.
