Iran Joins FIVB World League Final Six
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran defeated Poland in straight sets (25-22,25-20,25-22) in the sixth week of the FIVB Volleyball World League in Tehran’s Azadi Hall on Sunday.
The Iranian team booked a berth in the World League Final Six for the first time in its volleyball history.
Seyed Mohammad Mousavi topped the scores with 10 points for Iran while Poland's Dawid Konarski was the best scorer with 15 points for his team.
Iran leapfrogged Italy in Pool A with 19 points.
The Iranian volleyball team will be playing Poland next week, while Italy will host Brazil.
