Israeli Weapons Ineffective against Palestinian Resistance
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior Iranian lawmaker said the Zionist regime’s weapons are incapable of bringing Hamas to its knees.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, on Thursday said the Occupying regime of Israel cannot defeat the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, even with its secret weapons.
He referred to the Israeli war on Gaza, which started on July 8, and underlined that Hamas and the defenseless people of Gaza are the winners of this war.
Boroujerdi described the resistance of Hamas against the Zionist regime in Gaza as "matchless" and reiterated that Israel’s defeat in this war is a sure thing.
Israel launched the latest war against the blockaded Gaza Strip on July 8. Nearly 1,962 Palestinians, including 470 children, have so far lost their lives and at least 10,100 have been injured in the Israeli war.
But despite all its atrocities in Gaza, the Zionist regime has failed to achieve its objectives in the coastal enclave.
Meanwhile Hamas and Israel on Wednesday agreed to extend a temporary truce in Gaza for five more days as they continued their indirect talks in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to reach a long-term deal.
