Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship: Iran Sweeps Japan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran volleyball team defeated Japan in straight sets (25-19, 25-16, 25-17) in Pool F of the 2014 Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Wednesday.
In the quarterfinals round, the Iranian team will play Australia.
Elsewhere, Chinese Taipei will play India, Japan face China and host Sri Lanka will meet South Korea.
Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship is held every two years. The top four teams will qualify directly to the FIVB Boys U-19 World Championship 2015.
