Queiroz Names 23-Man Squad for Uzbekistan Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Carlos Queiroz has invited 23 players to Iran's national football team for the upcoming friendly match with Uzbekistan.
Al-Arabi midfielder Ashkan Dejagah and NEC Nijmegen wide player Alireza Jahanbakhsh have been dropped from the team.

Khosro Heydari, Hashem Beikzadeh, Omid Ebrahimi, Ezatollah Pourghaz, Mohammad Hossein Kananizadegan, Mohammad Reza Akhbari, Mehdi Torabi, Milad Mohammadi, Ramin Rezaeian, Vouria Ghafouri, Mehdi Sharifi, Ehsan Hajsafi, Andranik Teymourian, Sosha Makani, Mehdi Taremi, Alireza Haghighi, Pejman Montazeri, Morteza Pouraligangi, Jalal Hosseini, Saeid Ezatollahi, Masoud Shojaei, Reza Ghoochannejhad, Sardar Azmoon.
The final list will be announced after Iran’s Hazfi Cup between Naft Tehran and Zob Ahan.
The Iranian football team has been drawn alongside with Turkmenistan, Oman, India and Guam in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification.
