Iran's Top Officer Congratulates Muslim Army Commanders on Eid al-Fitr

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Seyed Hassan Firouzabadi congratulated the military commanders and officials of Islamic countries on Eid al-Fitr, the festive occasion marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

In a congratulatory message on Wednesday, the Iranian general also cautioned against the challenges the Muslim world faces now, noting, "These days, the Islamic world is faced with disasters such as the genocide of Muslims, and enemies of Islam seek to beset the Islamic countries (with troubles) and create internal and international crises."

Major General Firouzabadi also hoped for the expansion of friendly ties between the Armed Forces of Iran and other Islamic nations.

As the holy fasting month of Ramadan comes to an end, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

Muslims do not only celebrate the end of fasting, but thank God for the help and strength that He gave them throughout the holy month to help them practice self-control.

The great Eid is also a time of forgiveness, and making amends.
