EU Says World Facing 'Worst Refugee Crisis' since WWII
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The world is facing its "worst refugee crisis" since World War II and Europe has to do its part to solve it in a civilized way, EU migration commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said Friday.
"Today the world finds itself facing the worst refugee crisis since the Second World War," Avramopoulos told a press conference, according to AFP.
"What we must do and the (European) Commission has done it, is to organize our system in order to face this problem in a decent, civilized and European way," he added.
