Iran Unveils Plan to Enhance Oman Ties
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his administration has decided to take new steps to strengthen relations with Oman.
In a message to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq, Pezeshkian congratulated the Omani people and government on the Arab country’s National Day.
Reaffirming his administration’s push for good neighborliness as a main strategy in its foreign policy, the president said Tehran has decided to take new steps in promoting relations with the Sultanate of Oman considering the age-old, strong and deep-rooted bonds between the two nations.
Oman celebrates its National Day on November 18, the birthday of late Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, who reigned from 1970 to January 2020.
