Iran’s Minister of Science Meets European Counterparts
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi, who is in Japan for an annual scientific event, held separate meetings with his counterparts from 4 European countries.
Farhadi met with ministers of science from Germany, France, Bulgaria and Sweeden.
He also met with head of research center of the Japanese Mitsubishi company.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the annual Science and Technology forum.
At the meetings, the Iranian minister underlined the necessity for the expansion of cooperation on science and technology after the termination of the anti-Iran sanctions.
The exchange of scientific delegations, conducting joint scientific researches, exchange of students, holding joint training course for PhD and other academic degrees as well as joint scientific conferences, were among other subjects discussed between Farhadi and his European counterparts.
