IWBF Asia-Oceania Championship: Iran 106 –26 Chinese Taipei
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran defeated Chinese Taipei 106-26 in the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Asia-Oceania Championship on Tuesday.
Vahid Gholamzad led Iran with 26 points in the match held at Chiba, Japan.
WeiCheng Tsai was Chinese Taipei top scorer with 11 points.
Iran will play Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
The Championship is being held at the Chiba Port Arena, Japan from October 7 to 18.
There are twelves men’s teams competing for three spots and three women’s teams competing for one spot to Rio 2016.
