Foreign-Linked Network Disbanded in Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Members of an illegal network linked with the governments of the US and Britain, who were active in Iranian media, have been arrested.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization has recently captured members of the illegal ring who were linked with the US and British administrations.
Their activities had been monitored for months before they were taken into custody.
Details of their activities and arrest are to be released later.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has on many occasions called for enhanced alertness of Iranian officials in the face of the plots hatched by the enemies for infiltration into Iran.
Vigilance against the enemy’s attempts to find a way into Iran via a complicated and gradual plot is an absolute necessity, Imam Khamenei said back in August in a meeting with President Hassan Rouhani and his cabinet members in Tehran.
