Police: 1 Killed in Triple Shooting in Southwest Oklahoma City

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – One person is dead and two others injured in a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City, according to US police.

Police said the shooting was at the Oak Grove Apartments, near Grand Boulevard and Southwest 15th Street, ABC-affiliated television station in Oklahoma City, KOCO- TV reported.

Three people were hit by the gunfire. One of those three have died, according to police.

Authorities have not released the condition of the other two victims.

Police have a lead on potential suspects after a taxi driver reported that he was assaulted by a man, identified as Bobby Dean Whorton, and a woman. The driver was not seriously hurt.

The woman was detained for questioning, but it is unknown if she has been arrested in connection with the shooting or assaulting the taxi driver.

Whorton got away, but authorities caught and arrested him in connection with the shooting.
