TEHRAN (Tasnim) – According to a source in the Saadah province, Saudi-led coalition bombing of a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital in Yemen claimed the lives of five people.
A Saudi-led coalition bombing of a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital in Yemen claimed the lives of five people and injured many others, a source in the Saadah province told Sputnik on Sunday.
"Aviation of the Arab coalition carried out an airstrike on a rural hospital in the Zarih district, killing five people," the source said. Two other people sustained injuries.
The source added that two additional airstrikes hit the Sahar district in Saadah.
On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
Yemeni sources said over 7500 people have been killed since the coalition entered the Yemeni conflict, almost half of them civilians. The war has exacerbated hunger and disease in the Arabian Peninsula’s poorest country.
