Iran’s Navy Commander Attends Military Exhibition in South Africa
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari visited an exhibition of military equipment in South Africa’s Pretoria.
Heading a military delegation, the senior Iranian commander has travelled to South Africa at the invitation of his South African counterpart to attend Africa Aerospace and Defense (AAD2016) show, a biennial event held in September.
Rear Admiral Sayyari and his team arrived in Johannesburg on Monday.
Africa Aerospace and Defense (AAD) is one of the world's major military exhibitions that not only showcases the most recent advances in the aerospace industry, but also a range of arms used by the ground forces and naval units.
AAD2016 is underway at Waterkloof Air Force Base in Centurion, near Pretoria.
